José Maria Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Guerra in the 7th minute of play. Jairo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Moura having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Agronomos fc's zone, Ian Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Moura came out of the goal and Ian Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anhuma's Jairo Hermes in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agronomos fc's goalie prevented a goal. Ian Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Hermes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Jairo Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. José Maria Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Anhuma's Augusto Baptista got a free kick in the 37th minute. A hard shot by Egídio Corrêa from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Sidney Seco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jairo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Moura having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Agronomos fc's goalkeeper José Maria Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natanael Linares. If Eliseu Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Jairo Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg José Maria Moura managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Anhuma's Natanael Linares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Agronomos fc's Arnaldo Dias got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Agronomos fc's goalkeeper José Maria Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Hermes. Anísio Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anhuma's goalkeeper Sidney Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Senna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Maria Moura. Agronomos fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Hermes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Anhuma got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Hermes. José Maria Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Guerra in the 95th minute of the match. Many of Anhuma's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Anhuma may have spent more time on the ball, but Agronomos fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
