Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edinho Queirós started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, SIQUEIRA COSTA FC's Aloísio Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Paranaense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel da Cunha. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Hílton Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Hudson Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SIQUEIRA COSTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIAN the free kick. Hudson Sabóia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Patrick Mineiro, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SIQUEIRA COSTA FC's Emanuel da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of SIQUEIRA COSTA FC booed when DIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edinho Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SIQUEIRA COSTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Queirós couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes DIAN got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Fernandes. In the 34th minute Aloísio Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Pimenta having to interfere. Rômulo Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emanuel da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SIQUEIRA COSTA FC's Emanuel da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save SIQUEIRA COSTA FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Edinho Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dênis Marquez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Edinho Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Pimenta having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinho Queirós in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DIAN's Hílton Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Queirós in the 69th minute of play. Emanuel da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Paranaense in the 70th minute of play. Hílton Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Aloísio Maia sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Edinho Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. SIQUEIRA COSTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinho Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinho Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton Pimenta stood somewhat misplaced when Edinho Queirós came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 89 minute. SIQUEIRA COSTA FC played a much better game than DIAN and deserved their victory. The DIAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
