Jerônimo Valadares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Adnipo FC's Dadá Jacinto. But to his dismay, Dadá Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jerônimo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Salles in the 15th minute of play. When Anselmo Tande fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaperu's protests and gave Anselmo Tande a yellow card for diving instead. Dadá Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Salles in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerônimo Valadares saved Itaperu from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Eriberto Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adnipo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerônimo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Jacinto in the 37th minute of the match. Dadá Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wágner de Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eriberto Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Itaperu's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Jacinto came free, but Jerônimo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dadá Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Valadares having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Adnipo FC's Eriberto Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerônimo Valadares. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. Luizinho Moreira's late challenge caught a Itaperu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Itaperu's zone, Eriberto Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Valadares came out of the goal and Eriberto Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wágner de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jonathan de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cléberson Macedo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperu. The supporters of Adnipo FC booed when Itaperu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Adnipo FC's Valdir Furlan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Adnipo FC's Mathias Peres got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nelsinho Brodel's late challenge caught a Itaperu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. Nelsinho Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th play minute Dadá Jacinto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jerônimo Valadares. 0-3. Adnipo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
