The crowd rose to their feet as PALESTRA ITÁLIA's Egídio Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christiano Cosme. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When Marco Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moleques da Villa's protests and gave Marco Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moleques da Villa getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marco Campidelis hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Inacio Faxardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiano Cosme skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Moleques da Villa's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Edmondson came free, but Christiano Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Amaral got free with Christiano Cosme in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egídio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Christiano Cosme made a huge save. Christiano Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Edmondson in the 25th minute of play. Gandalf Fehér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruy Félix went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Rubinho Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Rubinho Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gandalf Fehér. PALESTRA ITÁLIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egídio Amaral made a kick off. Egídio Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ruy Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moleques da Villa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gandalf Fehér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Moleques da Villa's Rubinho Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Egídio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rubinho Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 74 minutes into the game, Moleques da Villa's Ruy Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gandalf Fehér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Thanks to some nice moves Rubinho Pontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Gandalf Fehér however easily saved by the left post. Moleques da Villa's Ruy Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvaldo Munhoz got free with Gandalf Fehér in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The PALESTRA ITÁLIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Moleques da Villa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
