Spectators: 6688 (Terracing: 5020, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Itaperu's Jerônimo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Paranaense in the 5th minute of play. Jerônimo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Paraense in the 7th minute of the match. Itaperu's Wágner de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Paranaense in the 10th minute of play forced Itaperu's goalkeeper Jerônimo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Itaperu's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Paranaense came free, but Jerônimo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Tande hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match DIAN got a corner. Itaperu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Mineiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Geovânio Fernandes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerônimo Valadares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute, Rômulo Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. DIAN's Hílton Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save DIAN from getting a goal against them. A collision led to DIAN getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ronaldo de Castro hit a great ball. If Cléberson Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Paraense took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerônimo Valadares. Jerônimo Valadares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute, Rômulo Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Paraense in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, DIAN's Rômulo Paraense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Perivaldo Prestes charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perivaldo Prestes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Perivaldo Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half DIAN were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner de Brito to make the kick off. Cipriano Paranaense got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-3 in the right cross in the 54th match minute before Jerônimo Valadares had time to react. César Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Paraense got free with Jerônimo Valadares in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DIAN's Cipriano Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Wágner de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Pimenta. DIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 81st minute, Rômulo Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 89 minutes into the game, DIAN's Rômulo Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 93rd minute Wágner de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hílton Pimenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Mané Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaperu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIAN the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itaperu's Mané Simão got a free kick in the 97th minute. If Cipriano Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
