Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Godoi kicked off to start the match. Ivo Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedé Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Hortêncio Neiva came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Eng. Mecânica's Matías Arantes. But to his dismay, Matías Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 minutes, Silas de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eng. Mecânica and the Gargau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Silas de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eng. Mecânica's Ivo Lira in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gargau's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Erik Godoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute, Fernandinho Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Abreu having to interfere. Frédson Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frédson Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frédson Cruz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Arantes in the 36th minute of play.

The wind increased when Matías Arantes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gargau's zone, Ivo Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Neiva came out of the goal and Ivo Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nuno Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Godoi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Fernandinho Dante fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eng. Mecânica's protests and gave Fernandinho Dante a yellow card for diving instead. Ivo Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hortêncio Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Arantes in the 69th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Eng. Mecânica's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Godoi came free, but Miguel Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Pinho in the 84th minute of play forced Eng. Mecânica's goalkeeper Miguel Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Gargau's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Arantes came free, but Hortêncio Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
