The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arild Stavrum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Neiva made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Gargau's zone, Arild Stavrum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Neiva came out of the goal and Arild Stavrum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Alcântara during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Murillo Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Arild Stavrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Godoi took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Salles. Christiano Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Frank Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The supporters of ⚽★ F O X E S™ ★⚽ booed when Gargau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arild Stavrum came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ⚽★ F O X E S™ ★⚽ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arild Stavrum couldn't finish the play. Hortêncio Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Erik Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gargau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match Federico Di Tullio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hortêncio Neiva skillfully saved the ball. Franklin Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Neiva having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Arild Stavrum sped through Gargau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hortêncio Neiva. Franklin Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Neiva having to interfere. ⚽★ F O X E S™ ★⚽'s Arild Stavrum got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ⚽★ F O X E S™ ★⚽ made a substitution.
