After a defensive mix-up in Oratorio FC's zone, Valdo Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Toscano came out of the goal and Valdo Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Bartolomeu EC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho. 22 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Toscano came free, but Waldir Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Prestes in the 23rd minute of play. Marcos de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Sílvio Luiz de Carvalho in the 37th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Igor Toscano's left hand side. 43 minutes into the match, Nico Toscano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bartolomeu EC's Waldir Linhares. Waldir Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nico Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Arlindo de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Igor Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Waldir Linhares managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Oratorio FC's João Francisco Prestes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bartolomeu EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nico Toscano 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Nico Toscano struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Waldir Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oratorio FC. Matheus Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bartolomeu EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Waldir Linhares was a little too slow when Nico Toscano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-4.
