The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Pernambucano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bartolomeu EC booed when Tribobo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo Madureira struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Manoel Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bartolomeu EC. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bartolomeu EC reached it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Machado was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Madureira got free with Manoel Pitta in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Raúl Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Manoel Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo de Alcântara in the 66th minute of the match. Manoel Pitta made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Valdo Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Arlindo de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Pitta having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Campidelis during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
