João Francisco Prestes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Nico Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luzia FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nico Toscano 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 61st match minute, Luzia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Guedes to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, João Francisco Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Luzia FC's zone, Nico Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Magalhães came out of the goal and Nico Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmílson Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. João Francisco Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Magalhães having to interfere. Abelardo Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luzia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oratorio FC.
