Bartolomeu EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ziguifrid Metal Time the free kick. After 19 played minutes Bartolomeu EC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Campidelis. Jonas do Valle struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Waldir Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ziguifrid Metal Time. Toninho Bezerra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldir Linhares firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Arlindo de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bartolomeu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bartolomeu EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
