Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zoio FC's Noel Alves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renatinho Salles made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pedro Luís Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Pedro Paulo de Salles put in a rough tackle. 4 minutes into the game, one of Zoio FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Renatinho Salles, was totally fooled by Hot Dog's Zé Pedro Campidelis, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Zoio FC's Remo Munhoz got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Corrêa in the 14th minute of play forced Zoio FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filipe Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Lopes struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Andrézinho Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zoio FC. In the 21st minute, one of Hot Dog:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hot Dog. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Zoio FC. Ricardo Barral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrézinho Gaspar. 1-1. In the 25th minute, Hot Dog's Hudson Corrêa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 28th minute Hudson Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luís Albuquerque got free with Renatinho Salles in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Almir Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renatinho Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but Almir Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 31st minute. Hudson Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodolfo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Zoio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Lopes couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andrézinho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

52 minutes into the game, Hot Dog's Pedro Luís Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 55 minutes into the match, Zoio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Albuquerque came free, but Renatinho Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hot Dog's zone, Rodolfo Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Gaspar came out of the goal and Rodolfo Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Rodrigues in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Renatinho Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Rodolfo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Zoio FC defense, Gonçalo Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renatinho Salles. The Zoio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renatinho Salles should have stopped the shot. Zoio FC's Renatinho Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Gonçalves in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Hot Dog booed when Zoio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Almir Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Gaspar having to interfere. A collision led to Hot Dog getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Almir Rodrigues hit a great ball. Almir Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Zoio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almir Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Almir Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Hot Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Lopes came free, but Andrézinho Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Albuquerque notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Zoio FC's Renatinho Salles. Renatinho Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Faustão Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hot Dog's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
