An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Alves in the 12th minute of play forced VegetalFC's goalkeeper Angelo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Severino Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Zoio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Mineiro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of VegetalFC booed when Zoio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmir Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Salles having to interfere. Severino Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Angelo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Walmir Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VegetalFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 34th minute Allan de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Alves in the 36th minute. If Noel Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Angelo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Alves came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelo Guedes could save by the left post. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Walmir Leme made the kick off in the second half. VegetalFC's Angelo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Lopes in the 53rd minute of play. Angelo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Severino Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renatinho Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan de Medeiros in the 63rd minute. Filipe Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Rodolfo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zoio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Guedes having to interfere. Filipe Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Guedes having to interfere. Noel Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Guedes having to interfere. Zoio FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
