Severino Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Bertassi having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Noel Alves made a precise shot to the right of Hamílton Bertassi. BEIRA MAR EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 15 played minutes BEIRA MAR EC got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Torres. The audience was convinced that Noel Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Bertassi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Álvaro Paes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Hamílton Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Noel Alves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, BEIRA MAR EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Torres to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Carvalho hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes, Zoio FC's Ricardo Barral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamílton Bertassi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zoio FC reached it. The BEIRA MAR EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zoio FC were winning 0-3.

With a little luck, BEIRA MAR EC's Hamílton Bertassi got control of the ball when Noel Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rodolfo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Filipe Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Joaquim Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Remo Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The BEIRA MAR EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zoio FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
