Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Denílson Meira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Cariuacanga's zone, Elói Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Rezende came out of the goal and Elói Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dudu Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dudu Ramos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Delfim Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the AA Custelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. When Elói Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Custelense's protests and gave Elói Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AA Custelense's Elói Saldanha got a free kick in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Vaz during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Félix in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Delfim Vasconcelos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cariuacanga's Anselmo Rezende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Delfim Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AA Custelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Denílson Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Rezende having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Cariuacanga got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Diniz. In the 34thth minute of the game Delfim Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cariuacanga's Anselmo Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denílson Meira took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Rezende. Anselmo Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Anselmo Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Vasconcelos went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. AA Custelense's Denílson Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Diniz made a kick off. Anselmo Rezende made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Elói Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. Amílton Trevisan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to AA Custelense getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Delfim Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Serafim da Cunha's late challenge caught a AA Custelense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafim da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Serafim da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Rezende having to make a save. 65 minutes into the game, Oscar Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cariuacanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AA Custelense the free kick. In the 69th minute, Delfim Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denílson Meira struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Anselmo Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA Custelense. 75 minutes into the match, Cariuacanga's goalkeeper Anselmo Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delfim Vasconcelos. Delfim Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anselmo Rezende having to make a save. AA Custelense's Delfim Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílton Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delfim Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the AA Custelense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cariuacanga booed when AA Custelense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded AA Custelense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cariuacanga.
