Spectators: 7271 (Terracing: 5455, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fanfa FC's Cássio Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Munhoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 6 minutes, Júlio Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanfa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Júlio Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fanfa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute Júlio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Mazza in the 12th minute of play forced Classic FS's goalkeeper Marcelo Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Júlio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Fanfa FC's Júlio Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 31st match minute, Classic FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Júlio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, César Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marcelo Munhoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Décio Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Classic FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Décio Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anselmo Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The Classic FS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fanfa FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emerson Seco struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Anselmo Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classic FS. In the 54th minute of the match Classic FS got a corner. Fanfa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil de Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gil de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anselmo Linhares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 60 played minutes Fanfa FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Ribeiro. Marcelo Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Ribeiro in the 63rd minute of the match. Classic FS's Marcelo Munhoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Ribeiro in the 65th minute of play. Marcelo Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Ribeiro in the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Classic FS's Marcelo Munhoz got control of the ball when César Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Célio Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcelo Munhoz made a huge save. Décio Dias's late challenge caught a Fanfa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Décio Dias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Classic FS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Décio Dias hit a great ball. Célio Cavalcante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Munhoz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Décio Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Marcelo Munhoz managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Fanfa FC's Célio Cavalcante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 82 played minutes Classic FS got a freekick which was hit by Décio Dias. Classic FS's Marcelo Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Classic FS from getting a goal against them. Célio Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marcelo Munhoz made a huge save. After 91 minutes Classic FS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Vianna who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Nuno Cunha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Classic FS's Décio Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fanfa FC played a much better game than Classic FS and deserved their victory. The Classic FS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
