Calango Pardo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rômulo Quadros in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrão Quintal saved Calango Pardo FC from getting behind. A collision led to Calango Pardo FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Breno Britto hit a great ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calango Pardo FC's goalkeeper Pedrão Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Rômulo Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calango Pardo FC's Pedrão Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedrão Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Benê Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th match minute, Lança Negra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
