Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Gomes kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Reynaldo Gomes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anselmo Linhares. After 10 played minutes Fanfa FC got a freekick which was hit by César Branco. Célio Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Zanette having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Fanfa FC's Júlio Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Célio Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Noel Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EC Zamboni and the Fanfa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noel Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Júlio Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Rafa Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Zanette was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Júlio Ribeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júlio Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Cláudio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Ribeiro in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Júlio Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanfa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cláudio Zanette came out and tried to block the shot, but Júlio Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 39th minute. Célio Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Cláudio Zanette made a huge save. In the 43rd match minute, Fanfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Branco to maneuver through the defense. If Reynaldo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rafa Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cláudio Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Cavalcante in the 57th minute of play forced EC Zamboni's goalkeeper Cláudio Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Fanfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Gomes came free, but Anselmo Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Júlio Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Zanette. EC Zamboni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The audience was convinced that Júlio Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Zanette was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 73rd play minutes Célio Cavalcante shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Cláudio Zanette and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 77th minute Célio Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fanfa FC's Júlio Ribeiro in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EC Zamboni's goalie prevented a goal. If Célio Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Cavalcante in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Zanette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Célio Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Zanette. EC Zamboni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Fanfa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of EC Zamboni for a fine match.
