In the 4th minute of the match, Gil de Andrade tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dedê Toscano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gil de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo da Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Munhoz having to make a save. After 14 minutes, Tales Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Classic FS and the SE Cururu players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Classic FS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Classic FS:s Marcelo Munhoz showed great skill when he stopped Jailson Soeiro:s penalty. Jailson Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Munhoz having to make a save. When Nelsinho de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Cururu's protests and gave Nelsinho de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SE Cururu getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nelsinho de Carvalho hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Dedê Toscano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nelsinho de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes, Gilson Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Cururu and the Classic FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilson Mello hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dedê Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil de Andrade in the 36th minute of play. Dedê Toscano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Classic FS's Décio Dias. But to his dismay, Décio Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murilo da Silva made a kick off. If Décio Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dedê Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Classic FS's Gil de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SE Cururu's Dedê Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Seco in the 73rd minute of play. Gil de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dedê Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Seco in the 88th minute of play forced SE Cururu's goalkeeper Dedê Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, SE Cururu's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Seco came free, but Dedê Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Classic FS booed when SE Cururu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gil de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Classic FS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
