After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Arlindo Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claudinei Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinei Carioca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After the first half Marvolo F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Marvolo F.C. were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Jamanacari FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rômulo Velloso took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Zé Roberto Queirós got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Jamanacari FC's Claudinei Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Barreto in the 68th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Jamanacari FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Santos. Claudinei Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Queirós in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Nelsinho Barreto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinei Carioca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Jamanacari FC defense, Rômulo Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Carioca. The Jamanacari FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Carioca should have stopped the shot. Pedro Paulo Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Vida having to interfere. Nelsinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Marvolo F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
