After 7 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio dos Santos. 12 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Nogueira came free, but Ronaldo Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emílio Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emílio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Castro having to interfere. Arlindo Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ronaldo Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamanacari FC. After a defensive mix-up in Hogwarts's zone, Emílio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Castro came out of the goal and Emílio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Bastos during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Jacinto Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Castro having to interfere. Leopoldo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lúcio dos Santos hit a great ball. Pedro Paulo Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ronaldo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hogwarts's Ronaldo Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Mendonça in the 35th minute of play. Emílio Santos struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ronaldo Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamanacari FC. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Jamanacari FC's Pedro Paulo Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldo Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naldo Mesquita to make the kick off. Ronaldo Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Paulo Mendonça in the 52nd minute. Jamanacari FC's Arlindo Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pedro Paulo Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Jamanacari FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Mendonça couldn't finish the play. When Mazinho Trancoso fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hogwarts's protests and gave Mazinho Trancoso a yellow card for diving instead. Mazinho Trancoso hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Adalberto Salles came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jamanacari FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Salles couldn't finish the play. Lúcio dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Jamanacari FC booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamanacari FC's Pedro Paulo Mendonça couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hogwarts. Pedro Paulo Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ronaldo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Paulo Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Carioca came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hogwarts's Naldo Mesquita. But to his dismay, Naldo Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pedro Paulo Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Lúcio dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Claudinei Carioca. Jamanacari FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Jamanacari FC's Josué Rezende got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jamanacari FC's Emílio Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Carioca having to interfere. The Hogwarts support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
