Rômulo Velloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo Velloso ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nelsinho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Marvolo F.C.'s goalkeeper Justin Vida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Moreira. Olavo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Luz having to interfere. Norberto Carvalho took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Luz. Luiz Fernando Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roberto Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Marvolo F.C.'s goalkeeper Justin Vida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias Moreira. Olavo Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Tiburcio Orkatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Fernando Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, Rômulo Velloso made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fernando Luz. Chute Certo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 42 played minutes Marvolo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Carvalho. The Chute Certo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Queirós couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chute Certo FC's zone, Olavo Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Luz came out of the goal and Olavo Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Olavo Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Marvolo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Olavo Gonçalves in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Fernando Luz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 61 minutes, Vicente Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chute Certo FC and the Marvolo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Tinoco hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Queirós got free with Luiz Fernando Luz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Rômulo Velloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fernando Luz. The goal made the score 0-3.
