The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Túlio Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Velloso in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Ducks's goalkeeper Túlio Nóbrega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Túlio Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Olavo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Nóbrega having to interfere. Túlio Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olavo Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Tiburcio Orkatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Augusto de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Justin Vida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nelsinho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The Ducks's Túlio Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Orkatz in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Marvolo F.C. booed when The Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Yuri Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 60th minute, Nelsinho Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, The Ducks's Osvaldo de Moraes got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto de Azevedo in the 70th minute of play forced Marvolo F.C.'s goalkeeper Justin Vida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Marvolo F.C.'s Nelsinho Barreto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olavo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Olavo Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Nóbrega. The Ducks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Rômulo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Gonçalves went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Gonçalves got free with Túlio Nóbrega in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, The Ducks's André Luís Soares got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Yuri Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Marvolo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Queirós couldn't finish the play. If Rômulo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelsinho Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Nóbrega having to interfere.
