Hernani do Nascimento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, one of XxSUPERxX:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XxSUPERxX. The referee gave Statter FC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Eduardo Oliveira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of XxSUPERxX's Jorginho Branco. 0-1. Cristóvão Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Cristóvão Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. XxSUPERxX's Jorginho Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Soeiro in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, XxSUPERxX's Evaristo Pombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerson Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson Sergipano during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Statter FC's Valdomiro Cordeiro in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XxSUPERxX's goalie prevented a goal. If Maurinho Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes XxSUPERxX got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Pombal. Gerson Mineiro came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by XxSUPERxX's Lenílson Sergipano. But to his dismay, Lenílson Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Carlos Eduardo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurinho Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Statter FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Oliveira. Valdomiro Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdomiro Cordeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo de Salles got free with Jorginho Branco in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Statter FC defense, Artur Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Mineiro. The Statter FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Mineiro should have stopped the shot. If Lenílson Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Statter FC's goalkeeper Gerson Mineiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurinho Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jorginho Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, XxSUPERxX's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Soeiro came free, but Jorginho Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. XxSUPERxX were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Statter FC for a fine match.
