In the 12th minute, César Saraiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Erivaldo Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asgard F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Asgard F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Aparecido came free, but Celsinho Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erivaldo Siqueira in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Damião saved Johanesburgo FC from getting behind. Celsinho Senna was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Marcus Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Erivaldo Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mateus Damião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asgard F.C. Chico Fantini hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Chico Fantini came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celsinho Senna could save by the left post. Erivaldo Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Johanesburgo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Arce to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Erivaldo Siqueira made the kick off in the second half. When Pedro Luiz Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Johanesburgo FC's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luiz Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Celsinho Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Aparecido in the 66th minute of the match. If Erivaldo Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asgard F.C's Celsinho Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Arce in the 78th minute of play. If Erivaldo Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes in the game, Erivaldo Siqueira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mateus Damião having to interfere. Johanesburgo FC's Mateus Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Siqueira in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Asgard F.C booed when Johanesburgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Asgard F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
