Fabiano Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Netto having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, ROMAnguaça FC's Deivid Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivo Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. ROMAnguaça FC's Nicolas Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Cardoso in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Mello in the 15th minute of play forced Tertuliano's goalkeeper Ivo Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Netto made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rômulo Prestes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Tertuliano's João Pedro Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Netto. That made the score 1-2 after 20 minutes of play. Fabiano Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nicolas Netto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tertuliano. When Rômulo Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Tertuliano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo Prestes couldn't finish the play. When Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiano Cardoso made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Deivid Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Netto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Fabiano Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Cardoso in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Nando Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Fabiano Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The supporters of ROMAnguaça FC booed when Tertuliano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Tertuliano's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Quadros came free, but Ivo Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Netto having to make a save. Nicolas Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Medeiros in the 78th minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Fabiano Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROMAnguaça FC's Nicolas Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rômulo Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicolas Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Ferraz having to interfere. After 93 minutes of play, Tertuliano's Fabiano Cardoso made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Netto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Tertuliano booed when ROMAnguaça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tertuliano fully deserved thier win.
