Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabiano Cardoso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Christiano Damião's late challenge caught a Querida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano Damião helped the player get up and apologised. Christiano Damião hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Luisão Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Damião in the 8th minute of the match. Tertuliano's Ivo Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Zanette in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Pedro Augusto Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Tertuliano's goalkeeper Ivo Ferraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Augusto Sampaio. Luisão Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisão Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Tertuliano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Augusto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Ferraz having to interfere. Tertuliano's Ivo Ferraz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Tertuliano from getting a goal against them. Horácio Matorin made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pedro Augusto Sampaio. Fabiano Cardoso took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Paiva. Luisão Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabiano Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Luisão Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tertuliano. After the first half Tertuliano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidney Zanette was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Querida's Sidney Zanette made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidney Zanette scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Ferraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Tertuliano's Christiano Damião got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the Tertuliano defense, Sidney Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo Ferraz. The Tertuliano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Ferraz should have stopped the shot. Fabiano Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Luisão Paiva made a huge save. João Pedro Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Luisão Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute João Pedro Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Tertuliano's João Vítor Jacinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisão Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Querida's Luisão Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Querida from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Christiano Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Tertuliano's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tertuliano may have spent more time on the ball, but Querida were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
