Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Cássio Sanches made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Faisqueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Aparecido came free, but Hugo Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percy Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Damião having to interfere. A collision led to Faisqueiro getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kiko França hit a great ball. Marcus Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Pontes having to interfere. Didi Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Faisqueiro's zone, Pedro Luiz Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Pontes came out of the goal and Pedro Luiz Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilmar Neves hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Didi Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Didi Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pedro Luiz Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Faisqueiro! In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Johanesburgo FC. Víktor Castro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Pontes. 0-1. With a little luck, Johanesburgo FC's Mateus Damião got control of the ball when Percy Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gilmar Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Johanesburgo FC's Didi Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Pedro Luiz Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Johanesburgo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luiz Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Faisqueiro's Hugo Pontes got control of the ball when Didi Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Luiz Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Didi Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Johanesburgo FC's Pedro Luiz Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Pontes. Hugo Pontes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With his leg Hugo Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Johanesburgo FC's Didi Arce fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74thth minute of the game Percy Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Johanesburgo FC's Mateus Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Didi Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hugo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kiko França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Damião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percy Dracena's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Arce got free with Hugo Pontes in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
