Gilmar Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Cássio Sanches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiliam Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hugo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiliam Marquez came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Faisqueiro's Cássio Sanches. But to his dismay, Cássio Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Wiliam Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Sanches in the 20th minute of play. Hugo Pontes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by JATOBÁ F.C.'s Célio Corrêa. But to his dismay, Célio Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mazinho Ferreira in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Pontes saved Faisqueiro from getting behind. When Alexandre Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faisqueiro's protests and gave Alexandre Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Faisqueiro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alexandre Maranhense hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Célio Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If José Augusto Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Wiliam Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Dracena in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind JATOBÁ F.C.'s goalkeeper Wiliam Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilmar Neves during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Faisqueiro getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gilmar Neves hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Célio Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the JATOBÁ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Gilmar Neves got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of JATOBÁ F.C. booed when Faisqueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, JATOBÁ F.C.'s Wiliam Marquez got control of the ball when Percy Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Corrêa in the 58th minute of the match. Célio Corrêa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hugo Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JATOBÁ F.C.. If Percy Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in JATOBÁ F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Célio Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hugo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Célio Corrêa went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Percy Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wiliam Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Faisqueiro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
