After having played for 19 minutes, Samuel Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ROMAnguaça FC reached it. When Deivid Mello came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the ROMAnguaça FC fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in United's zone, Deivid Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Penha came out of the goal and Deivid Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ROMAnguaça FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
