Senhor da Erva's Marco Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didi Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of play forced Faisqueiro's goalkeeper Hugo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Gilmar Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faisqueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Senhor da Erva the free kick. Didi Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Kiko França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celsinho Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Faisqueiro's Hugo Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Diniz in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Faisqueiro's Cássio Sanches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Senhor da Erva getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Didi Baiano hit a great ball. Percy Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Celsinho Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Sanches in the 32nd minute of play. Giuseppe Recife hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marco Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Cássio Sanches reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Celsinho Lopes. The goal made the score 2-0. Celsinho Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Percy Dracena went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Didi Baiano in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46thth minute of the game Didi Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faisqueiro's Hugo Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Percy Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senhor da Erva's protests and gave Percy Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Senhor da Erva getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Percy Diniz hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Marco Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hugo Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senhor da Erva. A collision led to Faisqueiro getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gilmar Neves hit a great ball. Faisqueiro's Gilmar Neves got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Gilmar Neves off the ground. Emerson Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Pontes. Faisqueiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Faisqueiro's Percy Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Didi Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senhor da Erva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Augusto Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Senhor da Erva's Didi Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Pontes. That made the score 3-2 after 87 minutes of play. Didi Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Pontes having to interfere.
