Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sidney Zanette made the kick off which started today's match. When champion's Fiori Fantini in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Querida's goalie prevented a goal. In the 6th minute of the match Afonso Veloso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didi Velloso skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute, Fiori Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didi Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Zanette in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Querida getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Afonso Veloso hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Querida were awarded a corner. Pedro Augusto Sampaio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Querida's Pedro Augusto Sampaio to fire away a dangerous shot which Didi Velloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Sidney Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but champion's Didi Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Carlos Eduardo Cerezo had to leave the field with a concussion. Pedrinho Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrinho Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Querida's Teodoro Sergipano was substituted for Carlos Eduardo Cerezo. Nelsinho Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Luisão Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Querida's Zé Dantas got a free kick in the 36th minute. The supporters of Querida booed when champion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in champion's zone, Anísio Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Velloso came out of the goal and Anísio Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Velloso having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fiori Fantini made a kick off. Sidney Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didi Velloso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anísio Aguiar. With his leg Didi Velloso managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Querida's Sidney Zanette fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, champion's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Zanette came free, but Didi Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sidney Zanette sped through champion's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Didi Velloso. With a little luck, champion's Didi Velloso got control of the ball when Sidney Zanette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisão Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Secco in the 78th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Afonso Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Querida's Luisão Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Secco in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Querida left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than champion.
