With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Zanette in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Pontes saved Faisqueiro from getting behind. When Querida's Sidney Zanette in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sidney Zanette spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Faisqueiro's goal. Sidney Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hugo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Neves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Querida's Sidney Zanette in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faisqueiro's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 played minutes Faisqueiro got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Martins. After 23 minutes of play, Querida's Sidney Zanette made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vânderson Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maurício da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faisqueiro's protests and gave Maurício da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Querida getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Wellington Siqueira hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Vânderson Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Querida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vânderson Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidney Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. Vânderson Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Sidney Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Pontes was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Sidney Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Pontes having to interfere. Hugo Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Sidney Zanette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Pontes was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Zé Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Hugo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Aguiar in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Sidney Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faisqueiro's Hugo Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Faisqueiro's zone, Afonso Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Pontes came out of the goal and Afonso Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Faisqueiro got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Neves. Hugo Pontes came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Querida's Sidney Zanette. But to his dismay, Sidney Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Querida had played much better football throughout.
