Inácio Figueiredo succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. José Maria Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Santanas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got José Maria Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MarceloBão SC's José Maria Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Rossi in the 66th minute of play. Perivaldo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. José Maria Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute Rubinho Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Furtados FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
