When Dagoberto Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cerro Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Camargo couldn't finish the play. Belmiro Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Delfim Loureiro made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Delfim Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva Quadros was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cerro Fc's Dito Branco got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cerro Fc had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
