Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Accioly EC's Raphael Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arron Bado in the 2nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Arron Bado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarana's supporters rose to their feet, but Arron Bado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Accioly EC's zone, Arron Bado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Mazza came out of the goal and Arron Bado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grisha Mushanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raphael Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Arron Bado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arron Bado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Tepedino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Arron Bado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Accioly EC's Raphael Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grisha Mushanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Canarana got a freekick which was hit by Grisha Mushanov. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugênio Damião during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Accioly EC's Eugênio Damião got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grisha Mushanov in the 55th minute of play forced Accioly EC's goalkeeper Raphael Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Accioly EC's Delfim Tepedino got a free kick in the 56th minute. Raphael Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arron Bado in the 59th minute of the match. When Delfim Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Accioly EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Tepedino couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Grisha Mushanov made a precise shot to the right of Raphael Mazza. Accioly EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Raphael Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grisha Mushanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eugênio Damião struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Inácio Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Accioly EC. The audience was convinced that Arron Bado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Mazza was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Accioly EC defense, Arron Bado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Mazza. The Accioly EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Mazza should have stopped the shot. Canarana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
