Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belmiro Silva started the match with the kick off. Maicon Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Furtados FC's attack was well implemented in the 4th minute, but when Adilson Koehler was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 14 played minutes Furtados FC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Paulista. Doriva Quadros made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Perivaldo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Dito Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cerro Fc's João Augusto Dante got a free kick in the 31st minute. Belmiro Silva struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Válbson Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerro Fc. If Adilson Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Durvalino Paulista was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. After 42 played minutes Furtados FC got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Paulista. Belmiro Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Válbson Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Perivaldo Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doriva Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Rossi in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Perivaldo Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Furtados FC's Perivaldo Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Belmiro Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Doriva Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerro Fc's Doriva Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Costa in the 68th minute of play. Perivaldo Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Quadros having to interfere. If Dagoberto Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Furtados FC's goalkeeper Válbson Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belmiro Silva. After 78 played minutes Cerro Fc got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Salles. Furtados FC's Perivaldo Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válbson Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Camargo in the 86th minute. Afonso Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerro Fc's goalkeeper Doriva Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Furtados FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
