The Chatinho EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Carneiro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Clube Dínamo Paulista's Mauro Brodel got a free kick in the 21st minute. A hard shot 23 in the game by Sílvio Luiz Campidelis from a close distance when the talented Bruninho Loyola managed to make a qualified save. Clube Dínamo Paulista's Bruninho Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Loureiro in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bruninho Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Geovânio de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Dínamo Paulista and the Chatinho EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Loureiro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anderson Trancoso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Lauro Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Clube Dínamo Paulista getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lauro Berger hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Clube Dínamo Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Vianna. In the 81st minute Luís Fabiano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tião Ramos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Luís Fabiano Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Lauro Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Dínamo Paulista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Carneiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Brodel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
