The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Recife was the one to do the kick off. Renato Arósio tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Franklin Varela. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. Horus Sport Club's Luís Fábio de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Torres in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Marins SC's Oséas Leme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fábio de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Marins SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alessandro Urbano hit a great ball. Severino Recife struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Franklin Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horus Sport Club.
