Pedrinho Lima scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafa Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Quatinga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Furtado came free, but Rafa Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Lima in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafa Baiano saved Quatinga FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Albertinho Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rafa Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s Albertinho Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafa Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafa Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Lima's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Arnaldo Palmeira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Albertinho Furtado took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafa Baiano. Rafa Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 38 minutes, Pedrinho Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quatinga FC's Rafa Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Lima in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s Pedrinho Lima in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rafa Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Quatinga FC booed when Olímpico Manaus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrinho Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olímpico Manaus F.C.'s Albertinho Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Olímpico Manaus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Pinho to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Quatinga FC's goalkeeper Rafa Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albertinho Furtado. José Augusto Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eduardo Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quatinga FC's goalkeeper Rafa Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Olímpico Manaus F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quatinga FC.
