After 41 played minutes Horus Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Severino Recife. In the 42nd minute, Bruninho Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauã Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If César Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horus Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Cordeiro notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Murilo Amaral. Murilo Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Horus Sport Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube de Regatas Flamengo:s goal. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Clube de Regatas Flamengo's Bruninho Martins got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luís Fábio de Lara. The Horus Sport Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clube de Regatas Flamengo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
