But to his dismay, Lúcio Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mugiwaras AL FC's Chicão Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Lúcio Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo Tepedino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Kiko Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marcel Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Kiko Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Eriberto Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mugiwaras AL FC and the Balaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Mugiwaras AL FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Netto.

The wind increased when Lúcio Abreu made the kick off in the second half. Fiori Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balaco! The referee gave Mugiwaras AL FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chicão Munhoz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balaco's Celsinho Pontes. 0-2. Lúcio Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Kiko Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lúcio Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Costa struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Celsinho Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mugiwaras AL FC. Lúcio Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Pontes having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Balaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Eger to maneuver through the defense.
