In the 25th minute, Matheus Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adilson Tavaress short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Adriano Maciel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 29 minutes into the match, Nova Esperança Soccer's Mathias Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adriano Maciel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Tavares in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Adilson Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano Maciel. The goal made the score 1-0. Adilson Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Adriano Maciel made a huge save. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Sousa made a kick off. Geovanni de Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Maciel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanni de Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute, Mathias Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nova Esperança Soccer's Mathias Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tumiritinga's zone, Adilson Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Maciel came out of the goal and Adilson Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Durval Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tumiritinga's Jefferson Vinhas got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Ramiro Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
