After a rather tough play, Anhuma FC's José Pedro Chaves got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 16 played minutes Malwee got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Valladares. In the 21st minute, Washington da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Chicão Torres. Malwee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gustavo Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Vasconcelos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sydney Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silas Vasconcelos was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sydney Prestes was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Cunha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Anhuma FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malwee:s goal. Silas Vasconcelos had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomás Godoi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Pedro Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Marco Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malwee's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anhuma FC the free kick. Marco Pimenta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tomás Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malwee's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silas Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Sydney Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anhuma FC's Silas Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silas Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Silas Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sydney Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anhuma FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Malwee's much stronger midfield.
