Clemente Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Maciel having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matheus Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Vale was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Armando Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Garopada SS fans jumped to their feet. Cristian Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94thth minute of the game Haroldo Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garopada SS's Cristian Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haroldo Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haroldo Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head.
