Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adilson Tavares made the kick off and thus started the match. Mathias Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Arantes having to make a save. Geovanni de Lima's late challenge caught a Funilandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. Geovanni de Lima hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Funilandia booed when Nova Esperança Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Barros went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Yuri Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funilandia's protests and gave Yuri Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Rosado in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute Durval Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nova Esperança Soccer's Cristian de Amorim got control of the ball when Humberto Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cristian de Amorim made a huge save. Mathias Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Arantes having to interfere. Valdemar Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Adilson Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauan Gaspar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nova Esperança Soccer's Cristian de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Barros in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nova Esperança Soccer defense, Kauan Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian de Amorim. The Nova Esperança Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian de Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Nova Esperança Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Messias. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Esperança Soccer's zone, Emanuel Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian de Amorim came out of the goal and Emanuel Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Durval Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Esperança Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funilandia the free kick. Cristian de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Gaspar in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodriguinho do Valle during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Funilandia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Nova Esperança Soccer's Durval Rossi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valdemar Arantes. If Adilson Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Durval Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Rodriguinho do Valle in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nova Esperança Soccer's Geovanni de Lima. Cristian de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Gaspar in the 97th minute of play. Kauan Gaspar took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian de Amorim. Cristian de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
