Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Luiz Ribeiro kicked off to start the match. Super Mengão's Francisco Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Ribeiro in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Silvério de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Super Mengão's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Siqueira came free, but Francisco Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguacu reached it. In the 72nd minute, André Luiz Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Super Mengão got a freekick which was hit by Silvério de Almeida. After some careless play in the Super Mengão defense, André Luiz Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Teixeira. The Super Mengão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Teixeira should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Super Mengão's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Pimenta came free, but Francisco Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilmar Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
