Emerson Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Campidelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Silas Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penedia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute of the match Fiori Souto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beto Campidelis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silas Braga struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Beto Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penedia SS. The wind increased when Ademar Marinho made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Gildo Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penedia SS and the Tom Original FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jefferson Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tom Original FC. After having played for 62 minutes, Edinho Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tom Original FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Emerson Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Campidelis was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Penedia SS's Silas Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tom Original FC's Vitório de Souza got a free kick in the 84th minute. Beto Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Braga in the 90th minute of the match. Vitório de Souza hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Emerson Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Penedia SS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
