Europe F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chambica SC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Europe F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Pires to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Europe F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edmílson da Silva hit a great ball. Inácio Monteiro was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Túlio Varela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Túlio Varela really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 24 played minutes Europe F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dadá da Costa. In the 25th minute, Álvaro Paiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Europe F.C.'s Zé Pedro Dias didn't even have to move. When Chambica SC's Luiz Guilherme Baiano in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 58th minute Amadeu Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Leal succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When Luiz Guilherme Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Chambica SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Guilherme Baiano couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Fred Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Europe F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Europe F.C.'s João Paulo Toledo got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Europe F.C.'s Zé Pedro Dias got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Chambica SC's Amadeu Mangueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Pedro Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chambica SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Europe F.C. had won, even though Chambica SC had held more of the ball.
