Wilton Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Silas Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilton Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CA 312's zone, Silas Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Pinheiro came out of the goal and Silas Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Guedes in the 9th minute of play forced CA 312's goalkeeper Wilton Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jefferson Cosme having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Silas Braga made a precise shot to the right of Wilton Pinheiro. CA 312's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Guedes in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilton Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilton Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Braga in the 26th minute of the match. If Silas Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luís Dracena was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Baltazar Quintal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Penedia SS's Jefferson Cosme. Jefferson Cosme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Luís Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Cosme having to interfere. André Luís Dracena struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jefferson Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA 312. Silas Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Wilton Pinheiro made a huge save. The supporters of Penedia SS booed when CA 312 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Baltazar Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA 312 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If André Luís Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Silas Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penedia SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Guedes in the 84th minute of play forced CA 312's goalkeeper Wilton Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emerson Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilton Pinheiro was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Emerson Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Pinheiro having to interfere.
